The Beginning
Luke Williams thought of an idea to create a unique surf brand that focuses on community and culture, he posted his first video on instagram and tiktok & went viral. At the age of 15 he began to build his following on social media from his home in Perth.
6th of September 2025
The Realisation
Saltura began going viral on social media, people loved the community feeling and the whole idea of the brand. This is when Luke went all in…
7th Of September 2025
The First Sample
Luke ordered his first ever samples with a high quality hat manufacturer. He ordered premium corduroy hats in 5 different colour ways. He documented the brands journey on Saltura's social media.
25th Of September 2025
The First Sale
Luke decided to make Saltura surfboard stickers and put them up for sale on the 25th Of September. The results were shocking. In just 2 hours the stickers have SOLD OUT. The Brand at this stage was experiencing crazy growth.
13th Of October 2025
The First Sample Have Arrived
The samples of the 5 corduroy hats have arrived. The samples turned out perfect, perfect quality and beautiful colours. People loved the hats and the hype for the hat drop began to build. During this time Saltura had gained 5.5K followers on instagram & 700 people on a waitlist. The Drop date was announced and the response was insane.
5th Of November 2025
The Drop
This will be the first official collection Saltura has ever dropped. The 5 colour ways of Saltura's corduroy hat became a hit. Selling 105 hats in just 3 days on pre-sale. Many customers showed their love and support for the local Perth surf brand run by a 15 year old. They saw Saltura's values & mission to bring back that old surf culture where community and quality was focussed more than profits and quantity.

After a insane amount of support and feedback, our corduroy hats have SOLD OUT. We are now ready to drop our NEW AUZURA TEES. Coming out this Friday 5PM AWST, The AZURA TEE was inspired by the ocean. Created to inspire you to get out there, have fun, hang out with your mates and spend time in the sun! This T-shirt allows us one step closer into bringing back that surf culture. I spent alot of time into this T-shirt to make it perfect!
